Natural Mineral Makeup

Today, you can find so many Natural mineral make up products in the market. And there are so many benefits to using Natural Mineral make up, so that its no surprise it's one of the largest growing industries. With modern light technologies ensuring a seemingly endless range of colours and hues.

Natural Mineral makeup is naturally good for our skin; it is naturally enriched with anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, non-comedogenic and sun protection properties. In fact it is the only make up that has been recommended for use after face procedures such as chemical peels or laser re-surfacing.

Sufferers of acne, rosecea and scaring may use mineral makeups safely and relax in the knowledge that it will not worsen your condition.

However, we need to be vigilant when looking to purchase natural mineral make up. Because all natural mineral cosmetics were not created equally.

A good natural mineral make up is made up primarily of 4 key ingredients: Mica, Titanium dioxide, zinc oxide and iron oxides. Many natural mineral makeup’s include bismuth oxycholoride as a base ingredient. I do not recommend the use of bismuth oxycholoride. Other ingredients to watch for include talc, parabens and petrochemicals such as propylene glycol.
